About us

The founders of LANO – a father with his two sons, smiling in suits in front of a board with the LANO logo

In 2007, we began an extraordinary journey in the world of wood by founding a company called “Lano Furniture”. A father’s dream, fascinated by the art of carpentry, quickly became a family business in which the sons took part in the production of unique and durable children’s beds. From the very first day, Lano Furniture was for us a place where passion and craftsmanship went hand in hand. The family business started in a small workshop where, together with our sons, full of enthusiasm and commitment, we made the first wooden beds for children.

From the beginning, we placed great importance on cooperation across generations, which allowed us not only to make durable furniture, but also to create a lasting foundation for the family business. Each of us contributed something unique to the designs, giving our products a distinctive style. Our beds were not just everyday objects, but true works of carpentry art that radiated passion and a love of detail. Together we experienced successes and challenges, and each of us contributed their own unique skills and ideas to the company.

Over the years, the company “Lano Furniture” has developed and expanded its reach throughout the country and into many European countries. Our products became appreciated by customers, and we continually broadened our range by adding new designs and creative solutions. Quality and aesthetics are our priority, which has made us one of the leading manufacturers of wooden children’s beds.

But the dream of a company does not always proceed without obstacles. At one point, after many years of hard work, an unexpected event occurred. A fire on 23 November 2017 destroyed our workshop – not only our place on earth and our products, but also part of our memories and our history. It was a moment that tested our strength and determination. Instead of giving in to despair, we decided to look ahead and join forces. Rebuilding was not only about the buildings, but also about restoring the company’s soul. The sense of community among employees and strong solidarity enabled us to rise again despite the difficulties. Solidarity and mutual support helped us to overcome adversity – as the LANO family that we form together with our employees.

Photo taken at night – only the black silhouette of the hall is visible, lit by a large fire behind the building A man stands with his back to the camera, wearing a jacket and hat, in front of the fire-damaged hall Photo from inside the fire-damaged hall – no roof, charred walls, mud on the floor from extinguishing water

During the rebuilding process, a new vision for LANO emerged. We focused on even higher quality by introducing innovative technologies and eco-friendly solutions. We not only created new products, but also a sense of community among employees, where working at LANO also means creating history together.

Today, when we look back on all these years, we are proud of what we have achieved. LANO is not just a furniture company; it is a story in which every element matters. Our wooden children’s beds are not just furniture; they are an expression of our passion, our hard work, and our ability to turn challenges into opportunities. We are ready for many more years of creating, inspiring others to dream of beautiful, durable furniture for the little ones.
