II. How we protect your personal data
- We have implemented appropriate security measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The number of people who have access to your personal data is limited. Only those persons within our organisation who need to process your personal data have access to it.
- We protect your privacy by guaranteeing the protection, confidentiality, integrity, availability and security of the personal data you entrust to us across all our communication channels. We use industry standards to store, process and communicate sensitive information securely, e.g. SSL/TLS.
- The following statement serves as an overview of what type of data is collected and how the data is used and disclosed, what security measures LANO MOBLER takes to protect your data and what rights you have.
- The controller declares that they pay particular attention to protecting the interests of data subjects and in particular ensures that they:
(a) process personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject
(b) collect personal data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and do not further process it in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes
(c) ensure that personal data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed
(d) ensure that personal data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
(e) store personal data in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed
(f) process personal data in a manner that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures.
III. On what legal basis is the data processed?
- Whenever we process personal data that we collect from you, we inform you whether the provision of personal data is required by law or necessary to enter into a contract, whether it is obligatory to provide the personal data and what the possible consequences are if you choose not to do so.
- When you visit our online shop, we store the following information in order to perform the contract concluded between you and LANO MOBLER or to take steps prior to entering into such a contract in accordance with Article 6.1(b) of the GDPR:
a) Order without creating a customer account
When placing an order via the online shop, we request all details necessary to receive and process the order. For this purpose, we use mandatory fields: your full name, your email address, your postal address (billing address and any separate delivery address). This data is used solely for processing your order.
b) Customer account/registration
- When making a purchase you can also register with LANO MOBLER. In doing so, you link a password to your email address. The next time you wish to shop with us, you can simply log in using these two details. You do not need to provide any additional personal data. LANO MOBLER stores your data and creates a customer account which is used to record, handle and fulfil your orders. LANO MOBLER keeps your details for future orders for as long as you choose to remain registered. You always have the right to view, correct or have the data recorded in your name deleted by LANO MOBLER.
- The controller or its partners or cooperating so-called third parties may use your data for marketing, analysis and statistics, e.g. to display advertising and offers (discounts), also tailored to your interests based on profiling that allows a better match not only to specific customer segments but also to your preferences. However, our actions do not significantly influence your purchasing decisions. The legal basis is Article 6.1(f) of the GDPR, i.e. processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party;
c) Newsletter
You can receive the LANO MOBLER newsletter by email without giving your name by registering with an email address and expressly giving your consent in the message by ticking the box. Once you have submitted your consent via a confirmation email, LANO MOBLER uses your email address as the recipient address for the email newsletter. This data processing takes place with your consent in accordance with Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
d) Storage of order data
If you provide data to LANO MOBLER in connection with an order, your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the order and in accordance with statutory data retention requirements. The extended retention period to comply with data storage obligations is based on Article 6.1(c) of the GDPR.
e) Processing your complaint, keeping accounts and recording transactions resulting from an approved complaint – the legal basis is Article 6.1(c) of the GDPR, i.e. processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject; to establish, exercise or defend the controller’s legal claims which may arise in connection with your relationship with the controller, or for other purposes necessary to pursue the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party under Article 6.1(f) of the GDPR, i.e. processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party. We process your data for the entire duration of the complaint process, unless other legislation obliges us to store your data for a longer period, for example accounting law, or we also process your data for purposes related to any disputes between you and the controller (the legal basis for such processing in this case is a legitimate interest, i.e. the controller’s interest) and to maintain accounting records for processed complaints (the legal basis is the controller’s legal obligation), or for any other purposes in view of our legitimate interest (the legal basis for processing personal data in this case is a balancing of interests, namely the controller’s interest). In each individual case, it is the longer storage period for personal data that prevails.
f) Personalised marketing and tailored advertising (Google Customer Match) – if consent has been given for this (Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR). Personal data in the form of an email address may be used to conduct personalised marketing campaigns within the Google advertising ecosystem (e.g. in Google Search, YouTube, Gmail). This process involves sending an encrypted version of your email address to Google, which compares the information received with its user database to determine whether you have an account within Google services. If the match is successful, you are added to a custom audience list, which allows us to target personalised advertising messages to you. Personal data is processed until you withdraw your consent.
IV. With whom do we share personal data?
- In order to run our business effectively and lawfully, your personal data may be transferred to recipients. These recipients act either as independent controllers or as processors on behalf of LANO MOBLER. All personal data is transferred to the relevant recipients on the basis of LANO MOBLER’s legitimate interests in providing you with the service you have requested, performing the contract with you, fulfilling indirect legal obligations or administering our business.
- As a rule, the processing of your personal data will take place within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, within the framework of the controller’s cooperation with third parties in connection with the operation of the online shop, your personal data may be transferred to a country outside the EEA where the entity cooperating with the controller maintains tools for processing personal data in cooperation with the controller. In the event of such a transfer, it will only take place to the extent necessary for these entities to provide services to the controller.
- When transferring personal data to entities established outside the EEA, the controller ensures that the requirements of Chapter 5 of the GDPR are met, including the application of appropriate safeguards for the transfer in the form of standard contractual clauses adopted by a decision of the European Commission. You can obtain a copy of the safeguards for personal data transferred to countries outside the EEA by contacting the controller at info@lanomobler.se.
V. Social media
- We maintain an online presence on social networks in order to communicate with customers and interested parties and to provide information about our products. User data is generally processed by the relevant social networks for market research and advertising purposes.
- The legal basis for data processing is Article 6.1(f) of the GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in effective information and communication with users, or Article 6.1(b) of the GDPR, in order to stay in contact with our customers and inform them and to carry out pre-contractual measures with interested parties.
- If you have an account with the social network, it is possible that we may see your publicly accessible information and media when we visit your profile. In addition, the social network may allow us to contact you. This may take place, for example, via direct messages or published posts. Responsibility for the content of communications via the social network and the processing of content data rests with the social network as a messaging and platform service. As soon as we transfer personal data about you to our own systems or further process it, we are independently responsible for this for the purposes of taking steps prior to entering into a contract and performing a contract in accordance with Article 6.1(b) of the GDPR.
- Below you will find a list of the social networks where we maintain an online presence: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest.
